The night was a supprise night for his stepping down as county commissioner. It was held in the Holy Cross Bar on Friday the 8th April.

There was a number of group leaders from the county present along with two county commissioners from Kilkenny and Wexford. Jody and his wife Miriam received a holiday voucher from the county team.
